…Even if i know i have to be up early the next day! I've tried reading but then when i finally start nodding off i have to take out my contact lenses which wakes me up again.
Watching tele only makes me more awake…….and i end up playing on my phone which also makes me more awake.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Answer:
First, try getting to bed early and waking up reasonably early. If you’re one of the people that tends to sleep in, then that extra bit of sleep may be making it harder to get some shut-eye at night.
Try that method for a couple days. Second, make sure your stomach isn't full when you go to bed. You don't want to be tossing and turning all night.
Next, try to get a tiny more exercise out of your day if you don't already. For example, I go swimming now and I don't have a problem sleeping, I just have to stay well hydrated so I don't wake up feeling feverish.
Then, you should get into bed early and find a comfy spot. Make sure the light is off, your contacts are out, your teeth are brushed, and you don't have to pee. All these things make getting to sleep difficult when put to the side.
Close your eyes. Even if you don't get any sleep that night, your body will get more and more used to being in bed, comfortably.
Good Luck!
Answer:
lay in bed with all of the lights turned off. play some resting music (sounds if the beach, u know wat i mean). lay on ur back and start counting up from 0. keep counting until u lose track, then begin over. it is very tedious, which makes u bored, which makes u sleepy. tah dah! i did this once and i barely made it past 11. it works i swear
Answer:
one good way of helping you sleep is to fill a gauze bag with dried hops and lavender in equal parts about 3 handfuls each put this either inside your pillow case or on top of your pillow when you go to bed you'll be nodding off in no time
