my boyfriend had the flu for 2 month now he been to the doctors but the doctor just gave him tablets but the tablets haven’t to work he been take the tablets couple weeks now should my boyfriend go back to the doctors tell the physician the tablets are not working or should my boyfriend going to the hospital i am worrying about him and my boyfriend has trouble breathing

Trouble breathing could indicate a secondary, bacterial, infection of the upper respiratory tract. This could be something serious like pneumonia or pleurisy. He has probably been given antibiotics but these should have shown some positive effect by the end of two weeks.
Your boyfriend should certainly be seen by his doctor again (right away) and any alternative treatment prescribed (other or stronger antibiotics and possibly something to help his breathing) should produce some signs of improvement in three to five days. If there is no improvement in this time or if he shows any deterioration he might require hospital treatment.
