Do you think that lip liners are beneficial?
Answer:
Yes and No.
Yes because they help to halt lipstick feathering/bleeding, but you only really need to wear them if you are wearing a dark color like a red. If you do wear them dont just line your lips fill in your lips as this acts like a base so if the lipstick wears off its not a noticeable.
No because if you’re wearing a pale colour it won t really show if it feathers and some time if you wear a darker shade than your lipstick it can look really really bad
maybe just try a cheap liner and see what you think
Hope this helps X
Answer:
It depends what kind of look you are going for: Lip tints/glosses are really in for this spring/summer. However, investing in a good quality lip liner that matches the natural color of you lips is GREAT for an evening look with a bright lipstick like RED! It keeps the lipstick from running/feathering…. Also, if the color is done right you don't get the line around your lips!
You can also use it under gloss to keep the gloss from spreading..
Good luck
Answer:
I don't think so - all they do is provide more precision to your lips…but who's gonna be looking THAT close? Unless you've got shaky hands, I doubt you'll definately need a lip liner for precision.
They also claim to stop lip colour from 'bleeding', but applying your lippy normally & doing touch-ups every few hours will be just as beneficial in my opinion.
Answer:
noooo!
Lip liners are really 80's and the only ppl you hear wearing them are film stars that have their own make up artists that are trained to put it on.
Lip liner can just look so so wrong, and fake and in my view makes you look like its smudged on your face.
Best bet is to get a lipstick in the tone that suits your skin, and nothing too loud as this is too “in your face” and off putting and the first thing u notice about someone then cant take your eyes off it as its so horrific looking!
Just being honest!
Answer:
Lip liners are great for people that have developed fine lines around their mouths. It stops lipstick and lipgloss from feathering out into the lines around the mouth. A clear lip liner is an excellent one to use if you are trying to halt feathering. If you're younger you really don't need one.
Answer:
kinda… if you know how to use it properly then it is 'beneficial', if you don't then it can look ugly, purchase one basic colour that can go with many of your lipsticks and try it out…
i feel doing without it would be a good idea, as i personally dont use one as my lips r thick enough, but if you have thin lips i advocate you go for it but try and learn how to do it right, i am sure you can watch a lotta tutorials on youtube.com about it or could even ask a make up artist at your regular parlour how to draw the perfect line for your kinda lips…
Answer:
It looks to exaggerated to me but might work for some. If you must outline your gob, then it's probably a good way to make your lips appear plumper. Whatever you do don't get them injected with whatever it is they use. Like that photographer woman on Britons Next Top Model…God she looks ridicules, and with lips like that, she'd be superior of clearing plankton from the inside of a fish tank….YUCK!!!!!!
