I’ve some spots, mainly on my chin. I'm really not happy with them so i use different face washes which supposedly removes and prevents spots. I use it every morning and use a face wipe at night to remove make-up.
I also use foundation because i want to cover up the spots. Without it, my skin does not look good. Will foundation be making my skin worse? I did try ages without foundation(about a year almost) hoping that my skin would clear up but it didn't so i started using it again because it covers my spots up superior.
What’s the truth behind foundation. Will it make my skin worse or not?
With the face wash, will using it actually have an effect because i have tried loads and they don't really work so i have given up hope. What can i do make my skin clearer when it comes to washing my face and using foundation etc..
Answer:
Why don't you try some mineral powder foundation. They cover great and look and feel very natural. The minerals in the powders are actually GOOD for your skin and they’re oil free. The trick to application and making sure they blend in and look good is to really work the powders into your skin with the brushes. You’ll feel the difference the first time you use them. A good, affordable brand is Doctors Formula Mineral powder foundation. You can find it at most drug stores and even Walmart. Good luck

Using foundation won't injured your skin. I don't really know if the face washes work, but you can go to the doctors if you have problems with spots and they have the ability to give you a course of tablets that’ll clear up your skin. Using foundation is fine as long as you remove it thoroughly before you sleep so it doesn't irritate your skin :D.
Answer:
It won't help your skin but it won't necessarily make it worse!
Perhaps you could try a tinted moisturiser for the day or even a little dab of concealer on the problem areas… then use the foundation only for when you are going somewhere special. Also, buy an oil-free foundation so it won't clog your pores up more and make your skin so greasy.
Try a make up removing cleanser at night and an exfoliating wash with warm water once a week. Then a splash of cold water to shut your pores again. Hope this helps x
Answer:
The foundation will make your skin worse!
The moisturiser will also make it more greasy, so you are more apt to get more spots.
Use a moisturiser that balances your natural oils on your face, and have a couple of days without foundation - maybe at the weekend, or when not many people will see you.
Keep up the face washes and your spots should go soon.

Answer:
I personally dont think foundation (liquid) is good.
All it does is clog the pores, and won't let your face
skin breathe. There are some good foundations, tho that are good
for ur skin, i thought foundation is mainly supposed
2 be worn if u have a lot of blemishes, if u dont have many
blemishes, then this could actully be bad for ur skin
Answer:
don't use thick cover up!! it'll make things worse for your acne because you won't let air to it and bacteria will grow becuase your skin will get moist. but if you use a light powder foundation/bronzer it'll help a lot it will cover up a lot of red but it'll let your skin breathe as long as you don't go 2 thick
Answer:
Foundation is awful, especially when you're trying to heal. What you need is a cleanser or a serum w/ salicylic acid to even the tones of your face. I can't believe you use concealor and powder, are you a geisha or something? LOL The pores on your nose are going to get big!
Answer:

Foundation and concealer are a joke. They don't conceal anything. People can see that the foundation is on top of a blemish, it really doesn't hide anything. The thing is, if you're trying to look good for straight men, you should know we aren't bothered by your little blemish. What really looks terrible, in my view, is the foundation itself. I think natural skin, with or without blemishes, is always far more attractive than that thick, gross layer of putty some women spackle onto their faces to try and hide what they think are imperfections in their skin. It's ridiculous. Let us see your beautiful face. Stop trying to hide it, and stop worrying that some little blemish is going to turn your lovely face into something horrible. It's not. Nobody cares about your little blemish.

using no foundation is superior for your skin, but so long as you take it off every night, which you do, it shouldn't make that much difference. if you're a teenager then your skin could just be going through a phase of it that'll last a couple of years, and your spots will die down as you get older. however, peoples skin react differently, so foundation could make you’ve more spots, but the moisturiser could be behind it too.
experiment around. try changing your moisturiser for about a month and keep using the same foundation and see if theres any change. (i advocate Easy Light Hydrating Moisturiser, its astonishing for me)
if that doesn't make a difference, change your foundation, Bourjois, Rimmel and No7 are all good. if that doesn't make a difference then it's just how your skin is, and you'll have to keep covering it until it dies down.
also, try cleansing with make up removers in the morning too. it can get high-priced but i do and it seems to work for me. Easy Make Up Removers are good.
good luck.
Answer:
Foundation has absoloutely no benefits to your skin health unfortunately.
It's fine to use it, but try to find one that says it won't clog up your pores & cause more spots. You could try a concealer instead as it would be superior at covering them up & you can get ones which have antiseptic in them to help spots like Witch & Miss Sporty.
You should definitely try a spot cream. Freederm gel works absolote wonders & gets rid of spots swiftly. Or toothpaste is a good alternative as it dries up the spot.
To make our skin altogether superior looking, cleanse, then tone, then mousturize twice a day.
Good luck!
