I am looking to buy my friend great make up brushes they can be expensive/cheap just once they are good, help!

MAC do very good quality brushes. As a photographer who works with make-up artists, I know most of them use MAC brushes, and would reccommend them. Failing that, Sephora do good brushes.

MAC and Bobbi Brown are great, but Ruby and Millie do some rather good brushes in their collection at Boots that are a bit more reasonable - I really like their foundation brush.

Body Shop are award winning… I've got their foundation brush, its great. I had an estee lauder one that cost twice as much and all the bristles fell out!
