Is tinted moisturizer better for your skin than foundation?

can it be used each day to moisturize your face or is it more of a make up than a moisturizer? thanks

Tinted moisturizer isn't superior or worse than foundation. Tinted moisturizer offers a different amount of coverage than foundation. Foundations can vary in coverage (from light/sheer to heavy/full), but tinted moisturizers usually are just light or sheer coverage. They also moisturize (duh), so they're good for dry skin types. At most, a tinted moisturizer can be used to even out skintone, but if you have scars or your skintone varies drastically on your face, you'll need to go with a foundation.

Tinted moisturizer is definitely a makeup and should not be substituted as your everyday moisturizer (well, at least I wouldn't do that).

I found with tinted moisturizer, it didnt cover enough and felt sticky on my skin. If dry skin is the problem and you dont want makeup to fall in the cracks of the dry skin, invest in a good moisturizing face wash and cream. Before applying foundation, put an extreamely thin layer of vasiline on the dry skin and then apply foundation. Tinted is no better for the pores either, just wash your face each morning and night, making sure it is all removed.

Not really,most people wear moisturiser under their makeup anyway, and you'll find a good foundation has some of the same properties as moisturiser.

Over moisturising can be as bad for your skin as not moisturising at all.

The best secret is cleansing it all off at the end of the day.

it depends on your skin, use it everyday if you want but if it statrs to give you spots don't. i personally like it to foundation as it leaves my skin nicer, and dose'nt look too obvious.
