I bought some lip serum for 34 pounds from a Christian Dior counter at the House of Fraser that's supposed to plump the lips. I still have the receipt. I've been using it five times a day for two weeks but my lips look exactly the same. If I went back for a refund, would she just tell me where to go? I know that the assistants make money on the sales on those counters.

Does it say anywhere on the box "satisfaction guaranteed"? If so then you will probably just have to send your receipt and a complaint letter to their corporate office– waiting a month or so- and get your refund in the mail. If it doesn't say "satisfaction guaranteed" I'd suggest calling their corporate line and finding out what the policy is. It is unlikely that the counter will be able to refund you themselves after so many uses.

All you can do is ask. I know you have been using it, but just tell them you are unsatisfied with the results. Sometimes they will take it back if you ask.
In the future, it is always best to specifically ask about the return policy when buying these sorts of items. Each store is different.

I highly doubt they will give you a refund. Afterall, you have been using the product.
The people who work on the stalls have to meet targets, and will try and flog every single item to the most daftest person they come across, if they fall for it. I personally, would not have paid that much money for a lip plumper, myself.
Im sure you will learn from this experience. There is one that works a bit, by too faced called lip injection.
I tried the tester in boots, and you have this tingling feeling. I noticed a little difference in my upper lip. better than paying 34 pounds!!!!!!!!
