Liquid Eye Liner!!! ?

Author: admin

I cannot for the life of me put it on, but i love it - any tips on how to start?? Please!!!!! xx

Answer:
First of all you’ve to get an eyeliner that you are comfortable with. If you look at a couple of brands in boots or superdrug etc They all have different size brushes and tips. Some are solid and firm or some are thin and paint brush like. I would advocate picking a couple of eyeliners with different size brushes to see what you feel comfortable with.

Applying the eyeliner however is a different kettle of fish. I would take out a couple of hours in your day to practise applying it at first. You need to have a steady hand and carefully sweep the pen across the top of the lid across the line of the top of the eye lashes. If your planning to do flicks at the end of your line then work your way into this at first. my biggest tip however is COTTON BUDS. if you wet the tip of one of these you can clean up or correct the eyeliner line as you go along.

I wear eyeliner everyday and it use to take me 30 Min's to apply it now takes me 3Min's! They key really is

1. A steady hand

2. Practise!

3 cotton buds

4. A good eyeliner that you can work with! I use L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss Eyeliner. it has a strong colour and gives a smooth line and applies like a dream. It's a little costly but worth it.

Good luck and remember practise and cotton buds! ;)

Answer:
how you put it on depends on the type of brush you’ve (hard felt pen type or thing brush) with the liner bottle, also on the type of look you want to create.

For the felt pen type, apply in small even strokes starting form the inner corner of the eye and keeping your eyelid shut and stretched at the out corner to avoid creases - keep drawing short strokes till you get a long even line.

I personally find the brush a lot easier as you can then apply it in 2 even strokes - begin 2/3rds of the way into the inner corner and apply a quick smooth line, then go back to the absolute inner corner and overlap the line.

If you want a more dramatic look - extend line slightly (not too much) beyond the outer corner and like wings upwards. You might want to pair it with some 'kajal' on your lower eye, especially if you're using black eyeliner.

also wouldn't advocate absolutely blakc eye liner if you're very fair, unless it's at night

Answer:
You have to find a liquid liner that has a fine brush so that its mistake proof. Some good ones would be MAC and L'Oreal make ones that have simple to apply brushes. If you’ve trouble applying eyeliner i advocate to draw on the eyeliner in dots or dashes starting from the innermost corner of you eye working your way outward, next just connects the dots or the dashes to get an even application. You should have an eyeliner brush to blend the line, a q-tip and eye make-up remover so that you can fix any mistakes. Watch this video too, it might be helpful.

I don't know if you've ever tried gel eyeliner instead? I used to use liquid eyeliner and I never got the hang of it!! Now I've started to use Bobbi Brown and Clinique gel eyeliners, which come in a little pot. You apply it with a brush, which sounds like it's going to be faffy but it's really simple - honestly I am the most cack-handed person ever! - and it looks better than liquid eyeliner in my thought. If you do little flicks on the outside corners of your eyes, it works better for this too. One tip would be buy a decent brush to apply it with, the Mac one's good. xxx

Answer:
I keep the eye I'm putting the liner on shut and begin with the inside of my eyelid and put it on in small sections so it looks even. If I get any uneven parts I just wipe it level with a face wipe/baby wipe.

You can try looking on youtube because they have lots of tutorials

Answer:
Pull your eye to the side to ward your ear like your pretending to do asian eyes ( Not being racist) . Dip it in the pot and then wipe the excess off and then do a thin stroke to the end. This helps get your eyelashes out of the way and make the skin flattern so its eaiser to stroke it on.

Hope that helps!

Answer:
I used to use the liner thats like a felt tip then i cam e onto the brush type. all takes practice but I usually pulll my eye to the side so the skin is taut and then get as close to the lashes as possible

Answer:
Go on youtube and type in 'how to apply liquid eyeliner'. You'll find tons of videos demonstrating how! I learnt from practising. That's the only way i feel you can learn to do it!
