My lips are dry!!!?

Author: admin

I always put chap stick on once in the morning once before i go to bead and at least three times in the day…..it gets anyoing cos my lips dry out so quick.and i can't really wear lipstick cos they dry up with that on as well and then i have to put vasaline on and it all gets smeary.Any tips on keeping my lips looking pink and sexy for longer than 3 hrs?

Answer:
well i think you need to drink loads of water this solve all skin problems moisturise your lips with vaselin any sort throughout the day and then when they clear up i think you shoul start to wear a lipgloss - coloured or clear it looks great. Using a lipgloss is fab as your lips with be moisturised by it and you can choose any great colour

continue to moisturise your lips with vaseline they will not necesairly have a pinkish colour but will have a shiny look whilst moisturising your lips i suggest you do this 3-4 times a day

wash your face reguarly and byu doing this your lips will moisturise too gd luck xx

Answer:
Lip gloss?

Answer:
put on carmex. It is medicated. Put it on under all your lipgloss. That way after the chap stick wears off you have pretty shimmery smooth lips.

Answer:
1. gently scrub the dead dry skin from your lips with a warm damp rag. not too hard.

2. apply carmex or vaseline. they are more effective at combating dry chapped lips than chapstick. carmex will heal them quickly, and vaseline will moisturize them well. then you can apply your normal gloss.

3. dont lick them, when its cold outside especially. it makes the problem worse.

4. make sure you keep your lips moisturized as much as possible to prevent reoccurance of dry lips. you may have to apply gloss or something several times a day, but its worth it. i have been addicted to gloss for years and i have not suffered from dry lips since high school due to the fact that i keep something moisturizing on them at all times :-)

Answer:
Drink milk, it contains riboflavin which is good for nourishing your lips.

Answer:
Any form of chapstick only keeps moisture for a while. It's best to wait a while and then our lips will stop being dry. Chap stick stops air getting to the lips and it makes things take longer to heal.

you may have to cope with dry lips for a while to help them heal and moisten up

Answer:
Napoleon Dynamite always relies on chapstick. It's a shame that it doesn't work for you.

Answer:
drink plenty of water ,de-hydration is the worst thing for lips

Answer:
first use softlips chapstick because its really soft and makes your lips smooth. then use neutrogena lip balm with the pinkish tint in it, i forget the exact name though.

Answer:
A good trick to exfoliate your lips is to put a pinch of sugar in your palm. Add a few drops of water until it becomes like a paste. Rub onto your lips in circular motions. When your done, wash it off. It should leave your lips nice and smooth. Other than that, drink plenty of water and use some Carmex.

Answer:
nivea lip balm works wonders for me but ifind that vaseline can be quite oily.

if you scrub your lips with a damp flannel in the morning then apply ALOT of lip balm and keep alpying throhgout the day then that shoudl sort out your problem.

hope this helps.

Answer:
use petroleum jelly

Answer:
ok. do not use chap stick very often.why? because you're lips will get addicked to it. then they depend on the chapstick. DO NOT USE SMAKERS!!! DO NOT USE ANYTHING WITH SPARKLES!!!

use these brands:

Vaseline

Burt's Bees

Carmex

ChapStick brand

Answer:
Try Aquaphor. It cures chapped lips and skin.

Answer:
I have the exact same problem! If you want the same effect as vaseline but don't want it to feel like you have gooey lips try this: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp15847_333181…

There is also a plain one, but I use cherry. Neither have dye, so it's great for really sensitive lips and doesn't sting.

If this doesn't seem good, try Blistex, the kind that comes in a squeeze tube, this also works well.

Good luck!

Answer:
drink LOTS of water the resason your lips are so dry is beacause you have a lack of water..

Answer:

Answer:
no you get a those bottle type chapsticks which also have the color in it… So when u put that chapstick, you wont have to apply lipstick and your lips will look naturally pink. MAke sure u keep reapplying everytime ur lips feel dry. Tell me do u smoke a lot? Cuz smokin can cause this problem. mail me if u have any questions.

Answer:
i have the same problem, after trying medicated blistex and a lot of other products, i began putting vasaline on my lips and that didnt work then i tried cocoa butter and it really helped. Palmer's now makes a cocoa butter lip balm in a tube and that also helps.

Answer:
rub the inside of a banana skin over your lips and stop licking them

Answer:
oooooooooh i have the same problem…it's really annoying…the only thing works for me is vaseline…

Answer:
avoid licking your lips. when you do that, the saliva dries up and leaves them in a worse condition. also, stay hydrated. drinking eight glasses of water daily (just like we've all been told by mothers and doctors, alike…well, they were right.) the moisture will help prevent cracking lips and will hydrate your skin as well.

and to help soothe on contact, buy medicated Blistex in the dark-green tube…i've found that it stays on much longer than traditional Chap-Stick and it's very soothing. (Burt's Bees also has the same effect.)

Answer:
try a small amount of Vaseline, the green one with aloe Vera, i had this problem and my chap-stick didn't work so yeah Vaseline morning and night, and with lipstick, don't wear cheap brands they will stop air getting to your skin try asking a beautician in a local cosmetics store.

Answer:
At Sephora they sell the brand Smashbox, Smashbox sells a Emulsion Lip Exfoliant.

Your lips are dry because they need to be exfoliated, Just like your skin on your face.

Answer:
deffinately use carmex. i have the same problem an since i started using carmex 2 weeks ago i've noticed a difference in the way my lips are. there not a dry as they used to be an there getting better an each day goes by. i put it on before i go to bed at night. when i first get up in the mornin, after i brush my teeth an then throughout the day. i prob. use it on my lips atleast 8 times a day. but it works. an at walmart it's only 1.98 for a little tub of it that's small enough to fit in your pocket.

Answer:
okay

put vasilene on your lips for like 3 minutes

then get an old tooth brush and rub it in a circular motion

then put on whatever you want

your donee

Answer:
you should try to remove as much of the dry skin as possible without causing damage to your lips. A dry toothbrush is good. Then use a medicated lip balm (strange but true, but over moisturising your lips is not good). Use a good lip balm that is not too greasy and then just your fav gloss!
