I have normal skin apart from dark circles and a few spots, and i would like to know if anyone could recommend a reasonably priced foundation that is not too thick but covers well. A foundation that lasts as well because my foundations i have previously tryed have rubbed off by the end of the day and i wont one that will allow me to look fresh throughout the day. Please Help! x

The best advice I can give is to use mineral makeup. It'll give your skin a very healthy and natural look to it, that doesn't feel heavy and it wears very well…plus, it's so much better for your skin. I'd especially stay away from mineral makeup brands that use bismuth oxychloride, though…this ingredient gives off an unnatural shine and causes many people reactions.
There are over 200 brands out there that carry mineral cosmetics. I'd recommend against any brand that you can pretty much find at a drugstore, discount store or department store (other than Jane Iredale & Mineral Essence, which are pretty good brands, but they are a little on the pricey side). Most importantly, I'd highly recommend to sample first, before purchasing full sizes.

Your foundation doesn`t rub off, it seeps down deep into your pores. There is no way that you can have all of your foundation on your face without having even a little bit go away.
But the foundation that I have lasts a really long time.

there's a revlon color stay that works really well!! I used to have a problem that I would touch my face and there would eb makeup prints on my papers and stuff, but this stuff is good for covergae but light and airy and doesnt rub off one bit!! I just use it wih concealer and some mac bronzer and it looks great!! good luck

There's a great foundation made by Arbonne International. They recently came out with a "make up primer"-I tried it yesterday and it's awesome. It creates a "canvas" for your foundation to give you extremely even coverage. I was able to use about half the amount of foundation normally needed because the primer created a smooth surface for application. The skin care is amazing too-check out the before/after photos at the above website. I actually only use foundation a few times/year now after being on the skin care. chanel foundation in liquid form is amazing becaquse its light and though its not oil free its good because it has a mousurizer built int that makes it look light and au natural! you should blend with sunscreen or mousturizer for a lighter look. Pair with nars blush in orgasm for a rosy look that complimentws every skin tone. to keep your foundation on during the day you can put a finisher on\. the smashbox phot finish line is a miracle worker and very popular. if this still does not work use something water proof but beware this has lots of oil and can clog pores.
