I know you're technically not meant to, but if I wash it between uses and don't put too much on, can I put eyeliner between my lower lashes and my eye when I'm wearing my contact lenses?

yeah, i do sometimes. that inner rim of your eye is apparently called your 'water line' or thats how make up artists refer to it.
i generally like to wear it outside along my lashes, but have worn it inside. just be careful when applying.

yeah i do it each day, i also apply heavy eye make up, and i dont really wash as much, if the lenses suit you, and they’re good, you can totaly apply eye liner, there’s no harm, who told you that youre not supposed to?
oh yeah, and there are just so many times i ran my mascara brush (and other brushes) right into my eye(and the lenses were in it) and i was completely fine without even washing the lens, and never did i have an infection or anything

Do you know how many people out there, celebrities & whatnot that must wear glamorous makeup all over their eyes that have contacts?
The only thing they state is that if could cause build up and you can get an infection, this hardly ever happens.. You'd have to literally leave it on and keep applying day after day after day without washing it off. You'll be fine trust me.

Yeah, it's fine just look for eyeliner that says 'suitable for contact lens wearers' on the back, (these are usually liquid) and try not to put it on the inside over your tear duct as eyes with lenses need even more moisture and can get easily infected if it is blocked.

It is ok to use eyeliner there, no liquid liner (some have tried it that i know!) because it can cause damage to the eye depending on brand ingredients and its just not smart. Pencil ONLY and put your contacts on first. I asked my optometrist.

I ALWAYS wear eyeliner when I'm wearing contacts, so does my sister. We've never had any trouble and we've been doing it for about 6 years now. There's no problem, our optician has never warned against it either.
