I’m a 24 year old male and started losing my hair at the age of 18.
I still have thick hair around the back and sides but it is very thin on top (think Alan Shearer). It is seriously affecting my self-esteem, especially around girls. I'm not the most confident person to begin with, but talking to girls is an absolute nightmare. The fact that I'm losing my hair makes me feel really bad as I think my thinning makes me look unattractive.
What can I do about this as I'm starting to get depressed and feel lonely? Some of my friends tell me there are women that find bald men sexy, but I've yet to meet one! It's got to the stage where my confidence is so low I've just resigned myself to the fact I'm apt to be a lifelong singleton. I didn't have a lot going for me in the first place and this is just the last nail in the coffin lid.
Any ideas welcome!
Answer:
You need to shave your head.
I knew a instructor of mine in high school who started going bald at a young age just like you. Only the top of his head was losing hair and the sides and back kept growing. He kept his head entirely shaved. And he looked really good if I say so myself. Plus, he met and fell in love with a woman AFTER he kept himself bald. They’ve been happily married for around 6 or 7 years now!
Sure, there are women who don't like bald men. But do you think you'd have a superior chance with only a bald TOP of your head? You look older with your hair thinning on top than if you took control of it and made the decision to shave it all off.

Answer:
Do what makes you feel the most comfortable. Is shaving your head only going to draw attention to the fact that you are already losing your hair and only want to hide it by shaving it bald? If you're really insecure, then that thought may creep into your mind. The only true answer is self esteem. Be confindent in who you’re, and it won't matter. If someone comments “Hey, does it bother you that you're losing your hair”? Just respond, “No, does it bother you”? If it bothers them, then they probably aren't worth getting to know!
Answer:
Of all things to worry about is the outside of a person.Doesn't anyone know that its whats on the inside that matters not the outside. There’s medication for the growing of hair,or hair transplant if ur that worried though. Its just the same thing as women worrying about themselves over crap reasons.God gave u the body u were born with and more people should realize that his work should not be messd with. But if u have to do it I hope u feel superior about urself.

I'm a 24 year old girl and I really don't care what hair looks like. My 28 year old friend was losing his hair so he shaved it off the other week and I think it looks sexy! My boyfriends 26 and he has grey hair! It's very common, please don't be paranoid, if a girl doesn't like your hair then she's not worth it!
