I've got an Irish oral exam tomorrow, and I need all the practise I can get, I'm learning off a presentation at the minute and I really need to stay up all night. Has anyone any tips that they use to stay alert and not sleep, and yet be able to function the next day?
P.s don't lecture me on not having learnt this, I had to cut loads out of it this day and I'm finding it hard knowing which order it all comes in

so anyway, any staying awake tips?

Youl be fine is it for your leaving cert or college?the best thing you can do is to go to bed and get a good nights sleep and get up early in the morning to look up you your notes.get a friend to ask you questions and you answer them youl be grand i was so worried about mine but i went to bed and got a good nights sleep and the oral went sound all you need to learn is your name age where your from about your family about your hobbies the subjects you’re studying what you lsubjects you like what you would like to do after leaving cert and they might ask you a question about the recession dont wait up all night ul be wrecked tomorrow and only forget things becus your tierd go to bed and get up early good luck ul be fine:)

Answer:
Not sleeping at all, wont do you any benefit. The best thing you can do is finish your revision this evening - shortening down the information you need to learn into smaller chunks. Write singal words down and little notes, rather than trying to learn large chunks. Get up early in the morning have a big healthy breakfast and revise again. Keep going through your notes up until the last minute. Try finding ways how to help you remember things also - like little ryhms or sayings. Also what words kinda sound like etc . . Good Luck.

Answer:
DON'T FALL ASLEEP!
thats the worst thing you can do if you've stayed up really late.
just make sure you eat in the morning-you will probably feel quite sick but force yourself to eat otherwise you'll carry on feeling rough.Drink lots of coffee and dont revise in bed, sit in the most uncomfortable chair you can find!..still not ideal to be doing an exam in that say..but if you havent learnt it this is your ideal option-and hey i cant judge..i do it all the time! haha
Good luck :)

Answer:
not sleeping is the worst thing you can do
its actually proven that if you
sleep well you remember things superior.

during sleep you brain takes all the information
and files it, metaphorically talking.

get atleast 7 hours of sleep

stay up till 11:45
go to sleep for around 12pm
wake up 7-7:30pm

Answer:
seriously you’re superior off learning what you can by state 1am then going to bed till say 7am so you get a good 6 hrs sleep than trying to cram information in all night long making you so fatigued you wont be able to remember it anyways do your ideal with what you have got so far attempting to stay up all night is just dooming yourself to failer i dont know anyone that would remember anything of importance after getting no sleep no matter how much coffee or red bull you’ve if your not used to working nights your brain and body will just shut down lol

Answer:
Tea with lemon worked for me. I survived till 3 pm next day. Don't ask how I got to bed! The hardest time is till 5 am, after that - it is ok. Only one thing: you think much faster if you had a bit of sleep and might remember something even if you didn't learn that at all ;) I went through 3 exams without sleep… never again!

Answer:
i agree with most of the people that you would be superior if you had a sleep but if you don't what eva you do don't nod of that will destroy you and have some breakfast a bit of a walk maybe and pro plus they’re my little friends
