At what age would you be refused corrective eye surgery. I mean laser?

to correct the distance vision I'm not talking about degenerative conditions such as macular degeneration.

I understand lazer surgery isn’t done for the over 70's

It isn't normally done until the vision has been stable for close to 2 years, which usually isn't until the early 20's

Getting it done too soon only means that your vision may change again maybe a few months later and it will have all been for nothing.

Here in the US, you have to be at least 18 years or older. Your prescription needs to be stable for at least 2-3 yrs. It is usually best to wait til mid 20's. Usually your eyes aren't done changing until then but it is completely up to you as a patient and suggestions from your physician. Hope this helps!
