I understand lazer surgery isn’t done for the over 70's

It isn't normally done until the vision has been stable for close to 2 years, which usually isn't until the early 20's

Getting it done too soon only means that your vision may change again maybe a few months later and it will have all been for nothing.


Answer:
Here in the US, you have to be at least 18 years or older. Your prescription needs to be stable for at least 2-3 yrs. It is usually best to wait til mid 20's. Usually your eyes aren't done changing until then but it is completely up to you as a patient and suggestions from your physician. Hope this helps!
