im only 21 and i can see this black spot in my left i think its called a floater i went to the eye infermary to get it checked out and they couldnt see anything wrong with it and that was about a year ago and its still there will it ever go away?
Answer:
Sounds like a floater to me. If it appears to move when you try to look at it then it almost definately is. Probably caused by strands in your eye binding together and making a 'blob' big enough to be picked up by your retina.
The main point is that these are harmless as long as there are no other symptoms. Chances are it wont go away, but because of your age there’s a good chance that your brain will learn to ignore the blob (to a certain extent). It will probably always be there, but learn to accept it and you probably will not notice it as much.
Don’t bother with any eyedrops or anything else that’s advertised on the web as they will not work. Surgery is only possible if it severely effects your sight
