I wear contact lenses and my eyes always injured the morning after I've worn them. They feel sore and tight. But when I haven't worn them, my eyes just feel normal. Is this the same for anyone else? Is it normal? I've worn contact lenses for years!

Answer:
Sounds like your eyes are dry. Are you giving your eyes a break (at least an hour before bed and an hour in the morning before you put them in)? Are you using rewetting drops while you're wearing your contacts? It's a good idea to see your eye physician if you do these things and the discomfort persist. If your eyes are unusually red, have discharge in the morning or have light sensitivity you should make an appt to see your eye physician right away.

Answer:
no it's not normal and maybe you need new ones or you might have an eye infection. I wore them for 30 years and then became allergic to the cleaning fluid and couldn't wear them again.
You can get sore eyes because the lens are worn and not enough oxygen gets to the eye. Go have it checked out, eyes are too precious to play around with

Answer:
If you've worn lenses for years you should know the answer to this one, get yourself to your optition. You're eyes shouldn't injured the day after wearing lenses.
If they're monthy disposable lenses you might need a new pair, but the only person who's really able to help is your optition.
