Answer:
I’ve astigmatisms too, and like you I don't wear my glasses enough!
It's probably just eye strain, I get it if I've been staring at the screen for too long. I just wear my glasses if I get eye strain and it goes.
Answer:
If you're in the UK then your employer (or you if you're self employed) must make funds available in order for you to have an eye test each 2 years I think.
Apart from that you should really take care of yourself as nobody else will.
If it is eye strain then rest your eyes 15 mins at least each 2 hours - perhaps a cup of something from the coffee machine whether you drink it or not.
You're old enough to know this sort of stuff by now. Get a grrrrip.

Your eyesight might be getting worse because your eyes might still be growing, or your vision has not stabilized yet, or you could just be experiencing eyestrain. There’s no way for anyone on Y Answers to know the actual reason for it and you might want to have an eye exam to see what the actual issue is.
I can tell you that eyeglasses only correct your vision while being worn. It will not make your vision better or worse to wear, not wear, or only wear eyeglasses as needed. I was also prescribed eyeglasses when I was a teen for my left eye and didn’t begin wearing them somewhat regularly until I was in my 30s. I have moderate astigmatism in my left eye and my right eye has close to normal vision. I usually wear eyeglasses for driving and watching Television.
You should at least wear your eyeglasses when you need them. If you’re nearsighted then wear them when you need to see objects in the distance. If you are farsighted, then use your eyeglasses for near work such as reading or using a personal.
