Does anyone else find their contacts uncomfortable during the allergy season? I keep putting them on and having to take them out again because they are so irritating. Is there any medication? I already have regular eyedrops for CL wearers. Thanks
Answer:
You might get some relief from trying one of the following lubricating drops:
*Lacrilube
*Simple Eye Ointment
*Liquifilm Tears
You should try to reduce your contact lens wear time for a little while. It sounds as though the reason your eyes are sore is because the surface of your eye is dry and it becomes irritated by the contact lens sitting over them. If all else fails vist your local optometrist
Answer:
You are not alone. A lot of people just stop wearing them for a few weeks when the allergies are bad.
There are plenty of meds for the allergies, but most make the eyes so dry, you still can't wear them.
Keep those glasses handy !
