I have got power of -0.5 in my both the eyes.what can i do to reduce it?do i want to go any medical surgery?

I work in Laser Vision Correction, I wouldn't recommend any clinic would consider treating such a small prescription. I doubt very much that you even wear glasses for this. Until such a time that your Visual Acuity is affected to the point where you need glasses, then there’s no gain to be had from Laser Vision Correction.

Surgery is rather excessive, -0.5 is an incredibly small myopia! My missus is -14 in each eye - she wears soft lenses.

I am -0.75 and -1.25 but have an fairly bad astigmatism - I wear glasses due to the air-con at work and being too lazy to sort lenses out each day. Before my astigmatism became too bad, I wore glasses only to drive and daily disposables for times I needed clear sight.

As for doing things to help, use a computer? Rest each hour for 5 minutes. Read lots of books. Can't think of anything else.
