My eyes hurt 24/7. Ive cut back on going on the personal. Now im only on it for half an hour a day atleast. Even though i do watch tv. Not all the time though.
I was told i needed glasses last year and have been wearing them often but even when i can see things with the glasses on my eyes they still hurt and i cant get used to the frames and i can see them in the corner of my eye its just weired (no the glasses arnt gigantic they’re quite small). I have the right subscription and all its just i cant get used to them and when i have them on i feel unconfident. Also i dont suit glasses i look awful with them on… Wearing glasses and losing my sight still im not completely used to. Im short sighted and cant see things from a distance
(that is short sighted right?) Its great though for when things are near to me. Its like when theres an object close i can see it without glasses and its like i have my old sight back for a split second until i look ahead and its all a blurr! urgh.
I was wondering would i need drops for my eyes? They’re so dry and painful all the time. Ive never needed any before and im fussy about putting stuff in my eyes. I’ve a fobia of going blind any minute. I know im a drama queen.
For the glasses problem though, i would like to try contacts so i cant see them bloomin frames in the corner of my eye. What contacts should i go for? any particular make?
Oh and last question has anyone every tried contact lenses and how were they compared to your glasses. How was it?
Thankyou.

Answer:
you should go to ur eyedoctor and describe to them what exactly is hurting……so maybe u would need drops for ur eyes(like moisturizing eye drops ?)
If you want to try contacts, you should get a “soft” kind…
again, go to ur eyedoctor and they'll help u with all the contact stuff…like telling you how to wear them/ put them on, and how to clean them and stuff like that
i've used contacts for almost 2 years now….and they're awesome!
compared to my glasses, they're like …ALOT better ! I use a “soft” kind, and the company is Johnson & Johnson. they're very comfy, and i've never had to use contact moisturising eye drops, cuz my eyes have never become dry because of contacts so far…
the only bad thing is that i can't wear my contacts now, cuz im sick…., and if i DO wear them it could cause an infection, so i have to wear my glasses
, but that's still okay..!!
hope i helped! ^_^
Answer:
contact lenses are so much better. It takes a while to get them in a first, but when you get the hang of it they are really good- i wear mine nearly all the time now. you should try them.
if you want to wear them every day, i think you should get the weekly ones, as they let more oxygen to your eyes, otherwise i would get the daily, as there’s less chance of infection.
hope this helps

Answer:
I need glasses but I try not to wear them because I don't like them - I'd rather get the odd headache and keep bumping into things.
I tried contacts and fell asleep in them, got stuck in my eye.
Just stick to glasses.

I love my contacts! They're simple to put in and i look way better in them. Also its nice to not have anything on your face and i see superior in them
Answer:
Hiya I've got contacts atm and used to have glasses, short sighted as well :). They’re SO much more convenient. Like you don't have to worry about P.E or anything like that, there's none of that seeing over the top of the frame of your glasses and they're comfy
I'd go for soft disposable contact lenses to begin off with. Dailys would be best so if you lose them it won't be much of a problem. If you get contact lenses your suppliers should give you a kind of solution to keep them in, I use these as eye drops whenever mine get dry and start hurting so yah.
Good luck!
Answer:
contact lenses really are amazing.
at first they feel a little weird but you get used to them
they gave me a lot of coonfidence, i really hated wearing glasses
and they made my vision just as good as when i had glasses, just you dont have the discomfort of heavy glasses on your face all day.
howerer depending on your age the amount of time you can keep them in is different, as i am only 16 i can only keep mine in 10 hours.
but they really are no problem, dont listen to people who 'asume' they hurt to put in they really are no trouble
good luck x
