I had my feet in the air while i was laying down I pulled of my sock and something flew in my eye.
I looked on the mirror to try and get it out. I looked and saw a black piece of something in my eye. So i used my finger to try and get it out… i looked at my eye again i couldn't find the black piece anymore but instead there is a white line going across my pupil.
each time i close that eye and turn my eyes it hurts really supper bad. so i tried giving my eye a bath using tear drops sit there with my eye closed for an hour and my eye still hurts
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Answer:
Try not to blink because that can scratch the film on the outside of your eye which will make it hurt even more. The best way is to probably turn on your shower to cold water and stick your face in the flow with your eyes open so the water runs over them. Chance are, this will get it out.
Answer:
Believe it or not, there are microscophic bugs high in your eyelids, in everyone. Every day they clean the dirt out of your eyes and scrape them to the outer lid of your eye. Making dust particles and dirt in the corner of your eye. Try to rub it come and check twice for any more. If that doesn't work, rinse your eyes and face in water thoroughly for 5 seconds or more and then try to rub off. The line and hurtness in your eye is just irritation and dryness of the eye.
Answer:
go to your casualty dept. at hospital. They should be able to get it out if its still there, they will wash it out, OR see your GP. The white line you mention could be a bit of damage to your eye, ideal if you go to casualty, just to be on the safe side. Don't mess with your eyes sweetie, you could cause more damage.
Answer:
ok cup ur hands under the sink, gather water and then place ur eye into the water shut, open it up, and close it, do that a few times in the water in your hand. if that doesnt work then get to your eye physician asap but dont drive, have someone take you, and if its late then id go to a hospital.
Answer:
That’s serious go to the physician as soon as you can. One of my teachers cleaned her eye with a kleenex and a tiny piece went in her eye and omg she had to get surgery and her eye was covered like for a month. And recovered ,but go and get your i checked just to make sure.
Answer:
Sounds like a scratched cornea - if you can't get to a physician tonight, try and immobilize the eye (no pressure on it, just a big bandaid or something so it can't move around) and go asap in the morning.
Answer:
it sounds like you've droped somekind of parasite in it;
i recomend going to the eye doctor/doctor, because it might
be a worm.
Answer:
When you stated you said there’s a white line going across my pupil, I think that white line is a worm or something. Maybe you should see a doctor!
Answer:
prob scratched it..it will heal
Answer:
is the piece of whatever out of your eye?
Answer:
The white line suggests that you have scratched the sensitive cornea. This is very delicate and though it heals swiftly the surface is only one cell thick and the new cells are easily swept off again by blinking.
You need to get this injury seen medically. As this is an acute injury if it is very painful A+E might be a good idea, Some casualty officers will deal with this, others feel happier if they call down an ophthalmologist to assess it.
treatment is usually a drop or 2 of local anaesthetic, antibiotic eye drops and an eye pad to cover the lid and fix the eyelid closed so that it does not sweep over the corneal surface and allows the cells to heal.
