Hello everyone. I'm almost 32 weeks pregnant and i am worried. A couple weeks ago i went into the hospital because of bleeding and contractions after intercourse. I stayed over night and was tested but everything was fine. I've had a few contractions here and there but nothing to worry about. The past couple days I've been having bad cramps and pains down my lower back, very low stomach, hips and legs and im worried im going into pre labor. Sometimes when he kicks it feels like he's stabbing a knife out of me(down there). No water, mucus or regular contractions so i don't want to be one of those crazy moms and call my doc over nothing. Does anyone know whats going on?..

hey! im 32 weeks also and i have been having the same things happen! i get the knife thing a lot on a daily basis and my abdomens sometimes even to walk, and 2 days ago i was getting like period pains, but had a bath and they went again, so i put it down to braxton hicks! so with all of this i was concerned like you and went to my midwife and she sais that the baby is 2/5's engaged and it will keep getting worse, but only to worry when the contractions are long and painful and not going away or when you lose your mucus plug (green dischange with bloody bits it it commonly). But i have been hospital each two weeks to be honest, im so worried about everything, have any doubts call your physician or midwife and get their advise because sometimes it dont matter how many people tell you its ok, you need that reassurance from a professional. xxx

You should just call the physician, it's superior to be safe then sorry. I was one of those pregnant ladies that called her physician on a weekly basis. They get paid very well for it and it's their job to make sure you and your baby are safe, they won't think your crazy.

Probably Braxton-Hicks contractions (practice for real labor). Did your Physician ok you having intercourse this late into your pregnancy>
I would call the physician to make sure. It's not bothering him (he would prefer know sooner than later what's going on). Just call and make sure, especially after a hospital overnighter.

if you are worried then see a doctor to put your mind at rest, they wont be bothered, its their job to reassure you and with babies i always state better safe than sorry….ignore the first answer (leah darkchild), they are clearly a moron and no doubt never been pregnant. good luck.

That's really normal. As the baby settles further into your pelvis it will get worse too.
I am 35 weeks tomorrow and have been having this for weeks as well and I had it with my other pregnancies as well.

If you’re very concerned call your labour and delivery line of the hospital. That's what i do when I have a question. They are around 24/7. I just ask the nurse when ever I’ve a question.
2 days ago on my baby shower I was having cramps all day. Not menstrual type cramps more like the kind you get when you go for a run. I called and they said if I am not having contractions, if the pain goes away when I rest, and it does not feel like a bad period I'm fine.
I have not felt those cramps since. I am pretty sure I felt that way because I was stressed because of the shower. But I too freaked out because it was uncomfortable.
So call your hospital and ask for the labour and delivery. Speak to them they’ll help you out.
