My friend had a SURGICAL abortion at 6 weeks. However at 19 weeks gone she found out it hadnt worked. So she had a scan and the baby was fine but the couldnt be to sure if there wasnt any damage to brain etc. So she had another abortion where she had to give birth. She now claims she sewing the Nhs for what they ahve done to her. I dont no how much of this is true or if this can happen can anyone give me there opinion. and if people think this can happen how likely is it that she can sew?
Answer:
Let me tell you something, your friend hasnt got no business sueing bcus she was asking for it. Im not saying im against abortion but if it didnt work the 1st time then maybe she should of took that as a sign. Aborting a baby at 19weeks is so wrong on many levels. I dont care if you dont agree with that but im telling you its wrong to abort a baby in the 2nd trimester.
Answer:
Hmm…I'm not too sure about that. I know that in very rare cases abortions are incomplete…but there's no way the fetus can survive that.
Answer:
its SUE.
Answer:
If she has a sewing machine, it should be a cinch.
Otherwise, she'll need a needle and some thread.
Answer:
She may of had twins and only one had died on the 1st abortion…not totally sure but there will b an explantion…if she takes them to court it could go anyway but stuff like that normally gets in the local paper.
Answer:
I dont know how you can have an abortion and have it not work… abortion=killing baby and taking it out????????
Answer:
well…unless she is going to torture them with a needle and thread……its called SUE.
umm…..i don't know. but now a days people can sue for just about anything.
Answer:
If that did happen to her she could "SEW"? for sure …. I had a friend that gave birth and they forgot the placenta inside of her!!!! She sewed!!
Answer:
Surely the hospital have a disclaimer like when i was about to have an emergency c -sec i had to sign a form saying i was aware that it could go wrong in so many ways. I've heard of this happening before with abortions so the hospital would be protected, had she carried on having the baby and the baby had defects then im not sure, maybe then she could claim against them.
Answer:
You mean "sue". How can she not know it didn't take, the abortion? Weird situation. Google and see what comes up. I've never heard of having an abortion and it not being terminated. She should be grateful that she is ok and not worry about money, if that's all she's after. Get the facts from your friend, she may just be distraught about the whole thing and wants to punish someone else for her own mistakes. Tell her to let it go and move on.
Answer:
Ignor the plp moaning bout spellin they've got nowt beta 2 do lol.
Anyway i would think its ridiculous if she could sue, if the hospital followed all procedures correctly then i would imagine it would be more down to whoever supplied the drugs etc for the first one but even then I'm sure they have get out clause cos nothing is 100% perfect.
Answer:
yes incomplete abortions can happen. but it can be a blessing to some people as they change thier mind and end up keeping the baby.
i am not sure if she can sue. she may be able too. negligence and all that. the only way to find out is to speak to a lawyer. or even citizens advice.
Answer:
first of all im so sorry to hear that, i hope you are supporting her because she needs you right now.
she might have a case there, she would have to seek a public solictor or if her parents will fund for her to have a lawyer but be warned that they charge alot.
Answer:
well it isn't very likley that a baby could survive that. But I guess it could be a really slight chance and like really rare if it does happen. And as far as sueing well she could if she went under "medical mistakes" but if she went under "health" then i doubt she'd get anywhere. But that's my opinion, of course in my real opinion i would tell her not to sue cause she shouldn't have had an abotion in the first place, but I think she has a chance in sueing if she wants to go through with it.
Answer:
No she can't sue. Sometimes this can happen when somebody has a termination - it's the risk a person takes when they undergo this procedure. It would have been easier if she'd used contraception in the first place instead of allowing herself to become pregnant then having a termination. Her fertility is her responsibility and not the hospital's.
Answer:
God people comment on the most silliest thing, so what she made a few spelling mistakes!
Don't worry about what people say we knew what you meant!! Well i did anyway!!
Well I dont know what could of happened, maybe like somebody already said she was pregnant with twins and they only terminated one.
If she wants to sue then she wants to sue but maybe thats unnecessary this things happen, don't know if you will get anything though
Answer:
oh my goodness. Obviously, this baby was meant to be, and she had it killed at 19 weeks. I think they stab it in the head and to finish it off.
You have HORRIBLE friends. I'd consider getting a new one. This one is trash. I'm not a fan of abortion, but doing it so late in the pregnancy is UNFORGIVABLE! HORRIBLE and truly DISGUSTING.
Your friend should have her ovaries taken away so that she may never reproduce again. It should be against the law for a baby murderer like her to have the possibility of getting pregnant and killing another innocent life.
Answer:
i dont understand whats a surgical abortion i thought they just sucked it out at such young time or by drugs and what made her have another scan?
If this isall true i dont blame her for sueing thats some serious trauma that will be with her forever.
hope you friend is ok
x
EDIT…I have read that 2 in 1000 are still left pregnant afterwards and its better to have a abortion with drugs i its b4 7 weeks as the feotus is sometimes too small to find.
This may be the case with your friend but im sure she will of signed something to stop any come backs like this.
Answer:
I dont think I have heard of very many incomplete abortions. Is she sure they actually PERFORMED the procedure ?
She should definitely bring this to the attention of the doctor's supervisors as well as threaten legal action.
So either your friend is lying or this was a totally inept or maybe a closet "pro-life" doctor who lied to her about the abortion.
There is no way in hades that a fetus inside would be left undamaged by an early abortion procedure.
Answer:
Most doctors won't do a surgical abortion at 6 weeks because there is a chance that they will miss. Thats why non surgical abortions are most frequently suggested up until the 8th week. She can't sue though, the risks would have been made known to her before the procedure. She can try to sue all she wants, she will never get anywhere.
Answer:
Sue? Sew?
Abortion is murder……
