hi there i am 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my 1st girl who will be my 4th child i had a routine growth scan yesterday due to two of my kids been small and me been small myself (i am about 5ft and before been pregnant my weight was 6 stone bmi 17)anyway everything has been doing great until yesterday when they stated her weight has dropped she is now just above the the first line were as before she was well above the 2nd if you no what i mean any way they’ve stated i need a scan next week which they call a doppler scan to see if the blood is flowing as it should to the baby then another growth scan in two weeks im so worried now because its the cord that Supply the oxygen right? so if its not working or stops working she wont have anyway of getting air
i am so worried has this happened to anyone else and what happened i can still feel her moving really well and her estimated weight by the scan yesterday was 4lb 7oz please someone put my mind at ease im so scared i cant think of anything else

that actaully sounds like a decent weight anyway and just cos shes slighty small doesnt mean anything is wrong.
i know someone who had a baby at 35 weeks weighing 5lb and her baby is healthy.
if they were really worried they would get you to have another scan much sooner.

We’re all different shapes and sizes as you’ve said you are a small lady.The baby is 4lb 7oz which isn’t to bad babies of a lot less weight are delivered every day and with a little extra special care they do fantastic and you’re near 35 weeks which also helps.I had two small babies and they both done fantastic.Please try not to worry as that can stress baby.Good luck

All I have the ability to state is I hope everything is fine. At least you’re at 34 weeks and if they’d to take her, she should have a good chance and hopefully not spend too much time in the nicu. If it helps I was 5lbs 11ozs when I was born at 36-37wks. She might just be smaller since you're a smaller person. Ideal of luck to you and your little girl. Keep us updated.

they scanned me from 28-38 weeks and told me my baby was too small he was aparently goin to be 5lb 4oz, but thn 2 days later after being induced he was 7lb two weeks arly.now perg with my 2nd im told this 1 could b too large honestly dont listen2 them
