I'm 33 weeks pregnant, today actually, yay! But anyway, yeah I'm 33 weeks pregnant and whenever my tiny guy gets the hiccups I feel them in my groin, not in my belly, is this normal? And I haven't been kicked in the ribs yet, so is he not laying head down yet? I feel movement at the sides, on my hips more than anywhere else, but other people say they have the ability to see him moving about under my belly button, obviously I cant see that without the use of a mirror, so I havent seen it yet, I'm just wondering what position he'd be in if I feel his hiccups in my groin and general moving around on my hips… I also think I'm carrying low, so does that mean it'll be easier to push him out when I go into labour? I asked my midwife all of these things and she just smiled at me so I felt like an idiot for asking but I really dont know!

I had that with my son too. Feels like they’re trying to wriggle out. I was told that the baby drops lower the larger & heavier he gets & the nearer to term you are in readiness. Feels really weird but I'm sure theres nothing to worry about. Good luck.
