the pains don't feel like contractions but the pains in my cervix are almost making me cry.
i am 40 weeks 1 day. does this sound like labour is coming soon.?
Answer:
Hello :), I had these pains last week in my cervix when my baby was 2/5ths engaged its the pressure of his head leaning on your cervix getting it ready so he can come out.
I am not sure about the baby's movements though, perhaps you should give your maternity ward a ring for some advice if it is worrying you. Good luck hun not long now
(Im still waiting for any sign
lol)
Oooo hope this helps

Its the uterus changing getting ready for birth, the only thing to get your baby here is contractions!!! and they start at the back hips then tummy you will know. If your that worried then go get checked but without contractions there will be no baby naturally anyway good luck i have that pain also in my cervix

Answer:
pack your bags babe your going to be a proud mummy soon
Answer:
Sounds like things will start to move very soon, have something to eat, take a warm bath and make sure you have a hospital bag ready to go. I wouldnt call the hospital just yet Id wait until the contractions have actually started - if your worried just give your midwife a call and have a chat with her.
Best of luck xxx
Answer:
maybe it is so you should get checked sometimes contractions come later and you will know when cause they get very strong but you never know if these are signs of the beginning of labor so go get checked and good luck with your baby!!!! cause labor might be on its way in a few hours maybe two days from now who knows so to make shure just go in labor and delivery hope you have it soon!!!
Answer:
I have the same pain , like someone is stabbing me with needles. It could be a sign of early labour, nut what is more concerning is the vigorous movements of your baby. If this is something that he DOES NOT normally do, it could be a sign of distress, just as a reduction in movements. I would suggest phoning the hospital and telling them. They may ask you to come in so they can check your baby.
