Answer:
Girl, you will be fine. 6 years is an excellent gap between births after a c-section. Actually, they recommend putting 18 months in between pregnancies for mothers who've had a c-section so that if they want, they have the ability to try for a vaginal delivery. You've got much more than 18 months between these two. So if you wanted to and found a hospital that supports VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section), you could give birth vaginally with minimal risk. Or if you want, you can opt for another c-section. But I advocate researching your options, and figuring out what you personally want, not what your doctor thinks is easiest. Here is a great site on VBAC: http://www.ican-online.org/

Answer:
Ur scar will be absolultey fine! No matter how huge you get it won't rip open after 6 years.

I don't know how things work in ur area but many places don't allow a vaginal delivery after c section, but in the same breath many do.

Worst case scenario is another c section! Large congrats on your pregnancy x

Answer:
No, it won't rip your scar open. I had a c-section in July 2007 to get my son out. Then I got pregnant again in June 2008. My scar never ripped open or anything like that. I don't know if you will have to have a c-section again. It depends on your physician. Mine wouldn't let me have a VBAC, so I had to have another c-section this past Feb. Nothing will go wrong. It is totally safe to be pregnant again now. Your scar has been healed for a long time and scar tissue is tougher than regular tissue. You’ll be fine. Good luck.

Answer:
No you might not need a c section with the next pregnancy, you certainly won't rip open, when you have any operation, the cut develops scar tissue behind the cut skin making it actually thicker than it was before. Read this page.

Answer:
Your 6 year old scar won’t rip any easier than any other skin on your body. many women have multiple C-sections with no ill effects. Your Doctor will have to be the one to tell you if you will need another. Relax - worrying does no good for you or your baby.

Answer:

Answer:
