last week, me and my bf were having sex when the condom broke and we didnt relise till he ejaculated inside me. i dont use any form of birth control (except condoms) so the next day i tryed to get an appointment with my gp and nurse to get the morning after pill and both said they were busy doing flu vaccinations for 3weeks. when me and my bf tryed to get the morning after pill at a chemist they said they couldnt until i had a prescription.

its now a week later and tonite i started to bleed very lightly and it was a really light pink colour. this is 6 days before my period should start but im very light anyway and im always irregular for some reason.

could anyone help me? i dont no whats happening to me and im worried i might be pregnant? im 17 btw, but i comprehend sex and all the risks.

Answer:
Well it's obviously to late for the morning after pill. I would go get one of those pregnancy tests (one of the high-priced ones) that’ll tell you if you are pregnant or not. As a matter of a fact I'd get 2 or 3 of them and take them at different times, Perhaps one week apart? If any of them come up positive then get yourself in to see a regular Dr.

Just because you started your monthly doesn't mean you aren't pregnant. Women sometimes have their periods for up to 5 months into their pregnancies. If you don't want to do any of this, then I'd go straight to a regular Dr. and see if you are pregnant, that’ll be a more accurate answer anyway.

Answer:
How strange, dont think you need a script for the morning after pill, did you state to the GP rececptionist that it was important? bit late now though, get a test from the chemist, just to put your mind at resr.

Answer:
I think it is very early to state yes or no. Have you got a brook advisory centre near you, as they can give you the morning after pill and advice. Failing that i would go back to your doctor. Good luck x

Answer:
of course you can be pregnant, u do NOT need a prescription for the morning after pill you just need £25 or get it free from family planning clinic …
