Ok so I had an abortion about 2 months ago, I had unprotected sex about 3 weeks later (unwillingly… rape), and then got my period about a week after that. (sorry for all the abouts I don't know the exact dates!)
And my next period was due about 5 days ago but hasn't come yet, I'm not sure if this is because my body's all over the place since the abortion and hasn't regulated yet, or when I had unprotected sex I might have gotten pregnant, although I came on my period about a week later…
What's going on?!?! :(

Answer:
Most likely you are not pregnant. Abortions can throw off your cycle as well as emotional/physical trauma :(. Of course you’ll want to get checked out just to get a thorough exam for any complications from either experience. Good luck and be sure to talk to someone about all of this.

Sorry I don't want to be sceptical about this but “The whole police thing has been done and dusted, they've found him and put him away” makes me wonder - basically you’re saying that you were raped 5 weeks ago and he has already been arrested, charged and jailed. What a very swift court case.

Anyway as you’ve already had an abortion it should be obvious how babies are made and that there for you could be pregnant if you had unprotected sex.

Would be interested to know why the police didn't offer you the morning after pill after the rape (or why you didn't think to take it yourself, being that you had an abortion only 3 weeks previously)

Answer:
when raped there exist special sections in any clinic or hospital where you can go and they cleanse you (to avoid pregnancy and try control or eliminate any diseases or infections you might have contracted)

have you gone to a physician irrirespectively?

rape is a criminal offence where the police don't take action ex officio, thus you don't have to worry about being embarrased to facing procedings.

I hope you’re fine health wise and not pregnant, unless you want to be, in which case love the baby come what might

Answer:
Just because you got your period DOES NOT mean you are not pregnant. It is actually very common for a woman to mistake the spotting/bleeding from the egg embedding itself into the wall for their period. However, it is usual to become irregular after abortion. Go get a blood test. It is usually free at your normal practitioner

Answer:
i would check with your physician. it could be from the abortion, or maybe even the rape, as your body is trying to recover from 2 traumatic events. i'm sorry that happened to you, and i'm wishing you the best.

Answer:
First quite referring to rape as unprotected sex. You were raped, sex implies consent. Chin up.

Take a test to make yourself feel superior. It would be positive by now if you were but you've been through a lot so I'm sure it's just stress.

Answer:
hey. i went with my friend for her to have an abortion and i remeber reading the leaflets afterwords saying don’t have sex for 2 weeks or just the one as you can get pregent straight away. hope this helps

Answer:
If you had a period since the sex you’re not pregnant but if you’re saying you were raped you should be reporting it to the police.

Answer:
I'm sure your not pregnant. But get a test just to be sure. You've been through a lot lately and stress can screw up your cycle. good luck!

Answer:
the abortion probly upset the cycle

Answer:
Stress can make your cycle irregular, you have been under an extreme amount of stress.

Answer:
I would go see the gyno asap honey…
