hi i went for an early scan 2day as my dr sent me for one but it was an ultrasound instead of an internal which i thaught and sonographer thaught we woudnt see anything,as i am abou4-5 weeks we seen the sack which i was surprised with it being an ultrsound scan we couldnt see the baby yet but im just happy its in the right place im going again next week to see if there is anything,she said the sack was measuring 6 weeks but would that be how pregnant i would be or does it go off the size of the baby.im unsure of the egsact date of my last period see.thanx.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and had an internal scan on Monday just gone had to have an operation first as they thought it was ectopic but I'm happy now as when i had the ultrasound they could see a yolk sack and a tiny white dot my consultant booked me in for the 3rd of April for another scan as at our early pregnancy unit they wont scan until 7 weeks.
you wont see a heart beat until 7 weeks on wards so i was told i will keep my fingers crossed for you and good luck

your period date gives them a guesstament, the size of the baby is what will mean the most in the end
