you know the ones where both you and your partner attend to learn about breathing and labour ect?

Answer:
If you have a local surestart then ask your midwife for there number, they do antinatal classes you book them when you want to usually around 7 or 8 months. If you dont have a sure start ask your midwife where the ones are in your area. You usually have to book them yourself.

The most useful thing i got from antinatal classes was a tour of the hospital where i was giving birth because if i never went i wouldnt have a clue where to go or what to do. So if theres one with a tour included go to it, there really useful.

Answer:
ask your obgyn. when i was pregnant he gave me a time, date and place of where it was and i signed up when i got there. i think i was 6 to 7 months

Answer:
you should be able to sign upask your doc they should offer them

Answer:
I'm not sure where you live, but in Canada you have to set up your own prenatal classes. I will be attending mine at the hospital I deliver at. There is usually a long list of different classes and you pay for the ones you want.

Answer:
You mean pre-natal classes? Usually people take those in the last 2 months of pregnancy. Ask you doctor about what is offered and when you should sign up.

Answer:
you have to find a place that hosts them. usually the hospital that you will be delivering will have classes like that. just call and see. I did my classes through momease.com

Answer:
I was 35 weeks when I had mine.

Answer:
You may have to ask. My doctor didn't offer it to me. I asked her about it after waiting until I was about 7 months along. She said that if I wanted some information that she would get some for me. Good luck and congrats!

Answer:
that is usually a little more towards the end of your pregnancy…I can't remember exactly, but seems like atleast 7 months along or more. Good luck to you, ask your gyno about it, he/she should be able to tell you.

Answer:
You probably will be told about all different kinds of classes. If you want to attend and no one has mentioned it ask your obgyn and they should be able to point you in the right direction. My doctor asked me if I wanted to take classes my 3rd month

Answer:
Probably around 7 months

Answer:
your gonna have to ask your obgyn about that, they never offered to me. i had to ask about them but by time i asked i was to far into my pregnancy to make a diff. so i had no idea what to expect while in labor and i did it just fine…two days of nonstop contractions and pains! not very fun either

Answer:
You may not be offered them..you have to seek them out yourself. Hospitals usally have the classes. I think I started going at around 34 weeks

Answer:
Ask your caregiver, midwife or Doc but its normally around the seven / eight months mark.

Answer:
you should do ask ur midwife

Answer:
Offered? No. You need to decide if you want the hospital birthing class or something else. The hospital birthing class is fine if all you want is an epidural there, waiting for you. If you plan to have a birth without an epidural or plan on a VBAC, then you need to find alternative sources that actually deal with how to deal with comfort measures and/or ways to avoid a repeat c-section. However, do ask to sign on for the hospital tour. I think that is valuable even if you take no birth class.

Answer:
from about 8 months generally

Answer:
ask your midwife at your next appointment!

xxx

Answer:
I was informed about mine at my booking in appointment with my midwife, information about the classes was included in my maternity notes. You should have already been informed about any classes in your area so give your doctors surgery or midwife a call and ask about the classes. Personally i wont be going as i attended them in my first pregnancy and there was little practical advice about labour, birth, pain relief, breathing etc…instead it all focused on the changes it would make to my life, relationships etc..

Answer:
In the UK your midwife will be able to put your name down for classes. They usually try to have them over by the time you are 36weeks . . . so that you have covered all the info, incase u go into labour early.

1st time it was a 6 week course and I started about 29wks. . . with my 2nd and this one I just did a2 week refresher course at 33 weeks.

There are also private classes u can go to run by NCT in most big cities.
