32 weeks pregnant, and ive been all achy in my belly all day today, the best description i can think of is its like having a stitch, its painful when i bend down, like a sharp stabbing pain, its pretty constant, rather then coming and going, although certain movements makes me more aware of it. Baby is moving fine, although there was not much movement earlier today. I HAVE ALREADY been to the doctors, he took my blood pressure, normal, tested a pee sample, stated there are a few white blood cells in there suggesting a possible bacteria, but its nothing to worry about. He stated if i get any bleeding go to the hospital, but I know that already.
Anyway else get something like this? Im sure its just growing pains or something like that, but some stories from you mums and mums to be would be reassuring!
PLEASE PLEASE dont state go to the doctors, i know people are just trying to be helpful when they state that, but actually ive already been today, so no need for that advise, thanks though!
Answer:
there could be a couple of reasons..
baby is lying on a nerve
trying changing your position, lie on your side and hope baby shifts a bit
labour..
but if you havent had the back pains, and it doesnt feel like you have period pains now.. dont worry too much
stress..
try to chill out.. easier said than done i know!!
something tight around your waist.
put a comfy night dress / pjs on.. baggy jeans..
water infection..
very common and since the doctor suspects white blood cells i think its a high posibility.. drink some cranberry juice it will help!!
constipated??
get your veg down you.. some yummy fruit to get things moving

I seemed to have suffered from stomach pains for about the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy. Sore when i do everything. Stops me sleeping most nights. Babies can sometimes be putting a lot of pressure on something inside and can then make things tender and sore for us. Either that or baby can be lying on a nerve. Just try to make yourself as comfortable as you can. My midwife told me that physio can really help with a lot of pains through pregnancy.
Answer:
get to the physician and demand a check of your appendix! I didn't finish reading your question, once i got to the bending over pain and the possiable bacteria infection.
I knew a woman that had some of your complaints. the doctor put her off and off and off, than she lost the baby and she died from apendisidis! go to the hospital and check it out!
sorry for mis spelled words!
Answer:
I did have some really sore belly pain and i was told it was ligaments stretching and that's why it injured so much. Remember how much everything has to move so it's bound to cause you some discomfort. Although now i can see clearly but at the time i was as worried as you! Congratulations and Good Luck
Answer:
i agree with the first person. it does sound like round ligament pain. its normal. and theres nothing you can do about it. it sucks
Answer:
Maybe Baby is on a nerve. I get pains like that sometimes. I just chaulk it up to her being smushed on a nerve or something.
Answer:
Sounds like round ligament pain to me…
Answer:
Most likely round ligament pain. Those ligaments attach the uterus to the abdominal wall and when they're stretched so much during pregnancy, especially if this isn't your first, it causes just exactly the type of pain you're feeling. I found some relief from this by moist heat, light massaging of the painful spot, but basically had to just deal with it. If it's really causing you pain, ask if you can take some tylenol, which should be safe in small amounts by this point. I also was able to minimize it by doing light stretches and some gentle strengthening for my sides and back; well, I assume those helped as the pain eased after a week or so of doing this regularly.
