I'm 7 months pregnant and I thought MY dreams were bizzarre, but my partner is getting really strange nightmares about failing to protect me and our baby, I know this is just his subconcious worrying but last nights dream for example involved trying to protect us from a bucket of rabit fried chicken… he doesn't remember the events of the dream, just this main thing! I'm just wondering if any of you men out there have had any really strange dreams since/when your partner was pregnant, any stories and tales would be much appreciated to put my partners mind at rest and might provide some sunday entertainment

I had this one weird dream where I got up (from being asleep in the dream). I remember that my flat was really bright and I could hear a noise coming from downstairs. I went downstairs and there was this tiny girl smiling at me and she said hello daddy.
This was all before we knew that we were having a little girl ( I had this dream just after we found out my partner was pregnant).
A more sinister one was when I had been woken up by a noise (in my dream). It was pitch black and I heard a this noise at my front door. My partner and daughter were fast asleep and so I got up to investigate. As I got downstairs (it was still pitch black - I couldn't see a thing). It felt as though I had been grabbed and restrained, though I couldn't feel or hear or see who might be doing this and I hadn't opened the door. I then found myself being pulled up the stairs and into the loo. I was moved to the mirror and despite not being able to feel or hear anything, I could make out the face of a man standing behind me. Then I woke up.
I think its normal for your partner to be having dreams. It his minds way of dealing with whats going on.
