Being pregnant with a baby boy - has this made you more emotional than carrying a girl?

I already have a little girl & am 28 weeks pregnant with a tiny boy (had that confirmed at a scan!) This time around I have been very emotional & feeling insecure - tho I have no reason to be feeling this way - I’ve a very supportive husband. My question is - do you think it's because I'm having a boy? My friend is also pregnant with a boy and has been feeling much the same as me. I wasn’t weepy at all with my 1st pregnancy. Also a friend of mine who has a little boy tells me she was quite weepy all the way through too.

possibly. but, almost every pregnancy makes women emotional despite what sex they're carrying. but then again, sometimes those tales can be true. i've been crying for no reason myself. so,i'm wondering if it's a boy? happy pregnancy hun.

If that were true it would explain a lot! The pregnancies with my daughters were a breeze. While i was pregnant with my son (who was stillborn) i was a basketcase. I’m 17 weeks again and am bawling over every little little thing.

We are hoping for a baby boy .. so if there’s something to this it would be great!

same here…i think it is…i cry over everything. this is my first one. and everyone is telling me its a boy cause you be very emotional with a boy not a girl..so i guess im having a boy also. so yes!

I cried all the time, almost every breakfast time over nothing, just at the drop of a hat, it scared everyone lol.

I had a girl - she's almost 2yrs & still drives me to tears as well as up the wall lol

Not too weepy. Even though I tear up a tiny when I watch sappy commercials or movies. I think its all hormonal and doesn't matter much if you’re carrying a boy or girl. All par for the territory!
