Pregnant on the Pill?

I know it's unlikely, but does anyone have any experience of getting pregnant, even if you were on the pill?
What was it that made you realise you were, and did you still get any form of bleeding while you were taking the pill (before you realised you were pregnant)?

Im not sure about having a period or not but my mum was on the pill when she found out she was having my brother and then again when she was having my sister! Its more likely if you don’t take your pill correctly. The best thing for you to do is take a test or go see you GP. Good luck chick!

My cousin was on the pill for many years and never missed one and then she was in the hospital for a check up and she got a 3 day dose of antibiotics and didnt know she wasnt covered by pill for atleast 7 days after and got pregnant, which was ok though as they were talking about coming off in a few months. Another cousin got pregnant as she was had a bit of a bad tummy for a day, and im talking NOT major bad tummy and she was caught too and again she was on pill for loads of years. Both of them still bled and didnt find out til about 2 months down the line.

i got pregnant on the pill… i have a beautiful daughter now. LOL. i found out i was pregnant when i went to have an x-ray done and they tested me before they would do it. thank goodness for small favors. i would have found out soon enough as the symptoms set in not too long after that. and no, i didn't have any sort of bleeding - all went as if i wasn't taking the pill at all. it was a good “mistake” though - i love her dearly.

i missed two pills and im 17 weeks 3 days pregnant.
so i knew there was a chance i could be pregnant and the smells of certain things bothered me a bit and then i missed my period.
but some people still get a period on the pill if they are pregnant but it tends to be very light compared to normal or even just spotting.
ive had slight bleeding during my pregnancy at 5,6,8,9,11+14 weeks but no period like bleeding.

I was on the pill, woke up a couple of mornings feeling queasy, did a test and it was positive.
When I went for a check up I was three months pregnant.
In the ward after I had my baby two other women there were on the pill also when they got pregnant.
So no contraception is 100% safe in my opinion.
Everything was as normal apart from the fact I was feeling ill.

I was on the Pill for 5 years, and my husband and I used condoms sometimes, too. And now I'm 7 months pregnant. I missed a period, and I just didn't feel like myself, so I took a test..

I was on the pill when I got pregnant. I was told I was pregnant when I went into the doctor to get a refill on my pills. I had no idea until she said she couldnt give me the perscription cuz I was already pregnant.

My mother got pregnant with both of my brothers and my sister and she was still having her period on time she found out when she was like 3 months pregnant with all of them

I got pregnant twice whilst taking Microgynon. I noticed because when i stopped for my usual break in between, my period didn't come - EVER! lol x

I conceived my second child on the pill I was 3 months along before I found out but I didn't have any bleeding I just thought the pill was to strong and thats why i was getting dizzy

I was the same way. I used the pill and condoms. But I’m now 4 weeks pregnant.
But I went from the Pill to condoms.

but dont know their symptoms sorry :/.
