Hello There, Im 32 Weeks and My Belly Did The Same Its Red And All, And I Have Got A Maternity Belly Bar In now, My Midwife Said I Could Keep Mine In, So i Advocate unless Your Midwife Says To Take It out, You Might As Well Keep It in,
X And Congrats
Take Care xxx
Answer:
The redness is a sign that it will become infected if it isn't removed, carefully remove it and clean the area thoroughly, then insert the maternity bar if you can, if you can't insert the maternity bar, then leave it and have it re done professionally after the birth. If you lave it and it does get infected, it will have to come out anyway and could end up a lot more painful and harder to heal with being pregnant.
Answer:
hey i would take it out now it sounds like it no infected yet but the redness and it being sore is a sign saying its uncomfortable. the hole won’t close up cause you have had it done that long i was same with mine i left mine in till i was 35 weeks and regreted it as it left me horrible strechmark scar on my belly button and still there now. but the hole was still open. best thing to do is keep it clean with tcp and warm water and keep putting your stud through it daily and you’ll have no problems getting it back in after the baby is born hope it helps.

I know many women who kept theirs in through their pregnancy was fine. I took mine out for no reason other than I thought it looked silly to be this big pregnant woman walking around with this cute, tiny belly ring.
The only thing that sucks is that after I gave birth, the holes (I had top and bottom pierced) stretch and are friggen' huge and hideous.
Answer:
K you don't have to take it out. If it is infected you might want to. but you can find navel rings for pregnant women. They’re plastic and long so you don't have to take it out and so it will be massive enough for your growing belly. Here’s the website you can get some from

Answer:
idk!! i had mine pierced a long time ago but took it our and now i have a giant stretch mark where the ring was. maybe your ring is preventing that!!! if you dont have that stretch mark, i state keep it in cuz mine sucks. and i didnt know they made maternity rings. thats way cool!!
Answer:
i took mine out at 3 months it got infected a lot im a slacker at cleaning my piercings. i only had it for 8 months too
Answer:
I have just found out i am 4 weeks pregnant and i took out my 2 navel piercings (had the top and bottom pierced!) straight away - i know i didn't need to but i think it is best too.
Answer:
yes because i had mine done to and it will probably reject so be care-full see your doc and state that you’re just wondering if it was safe i took mine out and it shut so i Miss it but nothing i can do about it
Answer:
I thought a navel ring was like those things on top of pressure cookers. When the ring pops, the baby is ready to come out.

Answer:
Yes, you should take your navel piercing out. It would be superior for you and the baby.
Answer:
no it might burst like a balloon and that would be too jokes to miss
Answer:
hi take it out and use salt water before you put the other one in that's what i do
Answer:
I had mine pierced for 6 years. I took it out at 3 months, I am now 7 months and where my piercing was is all red, but no stretch marks there. I am kind of wishing I would have kept it in and purchased a pregnancy ring. Who knows what it will end up looking like after giving birth and shrinking back down a tiny.
