im 13 weeks pregnant and was wondering, ladies once you have a big baby bump and if you shave 'down there' 
how the HELL do you do it???!! I can envision at like 9 months pregnant you can barely see your own feet, but im worried how am i gonna shave 'down there' when i got a large belly?!

I’m 22 weeks and when I look down I cant see anything but it isn’t hard for me to reach it if you know what I mean. I don't use a razor but an electric shaver works well for trimming up. I figure that once I get that big I’m not going to care and I have seen so many birthing videos on u-tube that I know that the Dr.s are not going to be fazed one way or the other So I am probably just going to let it go when it gets too difficult to keep up. If you are concerned about it I would have your hubby do it for you when you get close to term

OMG!! I'm so glad you asked this because I found a solution to trim the jungle!!
Here’s what you will need:
- A beard or mustache trimmer
- A body size mirror
- A toilet
1. Stand naked with one leg propped up on the toilet seat (have the lid open so the hair falls in)
2. Have your mirror angled correctly so you can see your area
3. Trim to your desired length. ** Use the trimmer slowly, it might pull your hair (ouch!) **
The best thing about the trimmer is that it doesn't cut to short, so that the “grow back” doesn't irritate at all! This was my husband's idea, only because he didn't want to trim it for me! I was so proud of him!
Its the worst feeling in the world when you don't feel so fresh down there! Good luck, I really hope you try it, you’ll be pleased!

Im 31 weeks pregnant and i still shave myself. It takes me a while and i have to use the mirror to do it but hey the job gets done LOL!! BTW this is my second baby and Im a whole lot larger with this on then I was with my first one and with the first one I had my hubby do it for me. If I get to the point where i cant do it myself anymore the the hubby will be the backup.

I used Nair after asking my OB if it was okay. I used the sensitive skin formula and followed the directions to a “T.” But I think I'm going to get a wax in a couple of weeks. The only problem with that is that I've always shaved/Naired down there, so I've never actually had a bikini wax. My physician stated she wouldn't do it since I've never had one and its most likely more sensitive down there than ever. I figure, it can't be worse than pushing her out in a few weeks…

I shaved up until 9mos and in that time i used a mirror to “shave down there”
Luckily, my bump wasn't “too” big, and that made it slightly easier.
But, i have to admit when i got to 9 mos of my pregnancy, i stopped shaving altogether, it was too much hassle.
You might find that at 9mos of your pregnancy, you lose interest and patients to shave, for a while.

i hate a hairy down there….. at first i could hold my bump up while i situate myself, but now the way i do it is i lay down & take a bath & in that position im able to reach past my more massive bump a lot superior & can adjust my legs to reach nooks & crannies & such… lol

Well I'm almost 39 weeks and what I do is use my electric trimmer… I sit on my bed or sofa with a towel underneath me and use a mirror. That’s the ideal way I’ve been able to think of! It works good enough. I wouldn't even attempt to actually shave… too high a chance for nicks and cuts. Ouch…

it hard you will be out of breath and you’ll have to feel your way through it for get seeing unless you stand over a mirror but still good luck seeing. my hubby would try to shave my legs for me because i could not bend over to far, but i would not let him go there with a razor. he would enjoy that to much and the shaveing wouldn’t get done.

well when i was pregnant i didnt have a problem until around 7 months and then i would just try to raise my stomach up and do it the ideal i could. i made it up until my ninth month and then i just let it go because i would never trust my husband with a razor down there.lol. the doctors wont care. they are used to it. u could try if you’ve o floor mirror looking in that.

I have made my fiance do it a couple times, he doesnt mind lol or I look in the mirror and do it. It is a challange and it takes a bit longer then it used to, but when its clean down there I just feel better about myself. I’m big and due on Sunday so it is a very hard task lol

If you have the spouse around, have him do it. Thats my plan. cuz i dont want it hairy when i go into labor or for checkups. I also plan on taking a shower when i go into labor before going to the hospital. Just have your hubby or bf do it, that is if you trust him enough. good luck.

if not, i just advocate you leave it,
im sure when your giving birth, the physicians see it every day.

Im nearly 25 weeks and Ive stopped bothering, I cant really be bothered and plus I always get bad shaving rash and id rather go into labor and for everyone to see my bits natural then all spotty with in growing hairs! agh that sounds bad doesnt it!! I just keep it tidy so its neat

LOL i am 9 months pregnant, I absolutely have to use the lift and shave method!!! If your are going to be intaminte just remind your partner that you cant see so good down there, if they are any man I know he wont give a darn either way! Good luck

I always do it without looking at it (kind of simple to shave it all off without looking :p and then just feeling if there's any hair left and shave that away) so I don't think I'll have any problems doing it in a few months
