I'm 21 weeks pregnant and not due my next midwife appointment until I'll be 25 1/2 weeks pregnant so I was just wondering when I get the MAT 1B certificate? Will it be at the next midwife appointment? If so, I'm a bit worried that it'll be leaving it too late to hand to my employer??

your meant to get them rom 20weeks onwards, and 15 weeks before the baby's due! so only leave you till 25 weeks, I got mine at my 20 week scan and midwife appt. so if you didnt get yours then I would call the docs an get an appt to see the midwife.

I got mine at my very first appt at 12 1/2 weeks pregnant, because they aren't sure about my dates. Ask if you can have one, say your employer's need it and have asked you for it, that's what I did first time around.

they aren't supposed to give it until 26 weeks, so yes, you'll get it at your next appt, although i got mine at about 14 weeks because i wasn't registered with a dentist and needed one for my free first dental check.
