suivre-moi
suis-moi

which one is right? and is the little - neccesary?
'follow me' is a song by uncle kracker, i am getting it in memory of a friend. which translation is right for the title of a song?
please answer asap, thanks xxx
Answer:
suis-moi is the right way to state it.Also has someone else pointed out, suivez-moi would be right also.
Let me explain, in french we’ve two ways of saying “you” one for a friend or a person younger then us. This one would be said “tu”
The other way is used as a polite way for older people or people we’ve to have respect too, like instructor or other people we might not know and that are often older then us. In that case instead of saying “tu” we state “vous” This way is also used if we speak to a huge amount of people. Like a group of people or even 2. 2 people and more, you would have to say “vous” instead of 'tu”
As for what it has to do with suis-moi and suivez-moi. Well, suis-moi would be said to those people we know and are friends with us, while suivez-moi would be stated to those person we need to have respect to OR if we talked to a lot of people.
So I don't know your song, but if the song title means that you want a lot of people to follow you, it would be “suivez-moi” if it means that you want one people to follow you it would be “suis-moi”
I hope that helps a bit, I am sorry french is a lot more complicated then english.

Answer:
Why not get it in English? Why do you have to get it in French? It's just stupid if you don't even know the translation.
Answer:
Not sure but some good info, MAKE SURE YOU GET IT RIGHT!
If you get it wrong you will probably end up will 'smell me' or something tattooed on your arm. Better off asking a Frenchy.

You're right. It's not stupid. That's a great idea. I don't know how to say it, but you've already got your answer from the French lady. Good luck!

try google translator - it stated suivez-moi
Answer:
Get it in English because suis-moi is too similar to suis moi - which means “I am me”!
