my friend is 13 goin on 14 and she sais that her brother does tattoos he has the kit an stuff and she said she’s havin it done 4 her 14th birthday on her wrist. does it hurt on the wrist? thanx katie v
Answer:
Yeah it hurts.
She's stupid.
I think 14 is too young, but at least its her brother who's doing it. If he isn't a tattoo artist, that would suck for your friend.
I got my first one done when I was nearly 16 by some guy at a celebration who did tattoos. I thought he was hot, and I was drunk so I got one.
Thankfully I didn't get anything that dumb and massive, but it's still on my hand so everyone sees it.
But yeah, I went and got another one on my wrist, when I turned 18. And it hurts, its not too painful though. It feel like running a needle across your skin over and over and over again, and soon it just gets annoying.
Answer:
The legal age is 18 but my friend got hers when she was 13 with her parents. It's okay if you’ve parental permission I believe. I’m not sure how bad it would injured on the wrist but I hear that it hurts more wherever it's bony. It probably won't be too bad since it's prone to be small but it will be sore.
Answer:
well its usually 16 with parents consent in most cases, but seen as it is her brother doing it and she has her parents consent its fine!
but is he proffesional, don forget a tattoo is for life and she doesn wan summit stupid that’ll look a state! and the wrist is a very noticeable place, think the future u can always see that at job interveiws and wen your old not a good impression! why not a pretty design on her foot or lower back!
Answer:
You should be 18 and don't even let her brother do it unless he is a trained tattoist. Just in case she still wants to be stupid tell her to check out the BBC news web site about the number of teenagers with infections from tattoos they had done at a celebration. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_w…
Answer:
Don't get one done sweatheart! It might seem really cool right now but in later years you will live to regret it…If you’ve to get one done, go to a professional not your mates brother…
Jesus, what are you thinking?
DON'T GET ONE! IT REALLY WILL MAKE YOU LOOK “COMMON” WHEN YOU ARE A LOT OLDER!
Answer:
you’ve to be 18, no way go near her brothers kit. When you are old enough to make you own mind up it will be with a qualified person who has sterilised needles etc. Yes it is not pain free. Tell all your friends they could die if the brother does it!
Answer:
Legally you’ve to be 18 in the UK.
In some other places in Europe you can get a tattoo at 16 with parental consent.
Apparently the wrist is a bit painful, but it depends how bony you’re.
Answer:
Well if you’re from the UK it's 18, it's a big choice to make for such young girls as your body is still growing (the tat mat stretch depending where it is) and you might regret it in the end!
