Does it stop the pain totally? If not what does the pain feel like?

Its the cream you leave on for an hour and then get tattooed.

Im guessing my tattoo wont take longer than half an hour so should it wear off by then?

Thanks

Answer:
The whole experience of having a tattoo is to feel the pain aswell, where are you getting it? Because after 5-10 minutes you don't really feel it anymore anyway, its like your body's getting used to the sensation. Tattooists don't really like using numbing cream either and will strongly advise you not to apply it.

You need to apply it half an hour before you get your tattoo (It takes half an hour to activate) and then it only lasts half an hour!! Pretty pointless to be honest.

Edit: The least painful places are your legs and arms (Minus the elbow and kneecaps) You're lower back should be fine pain-wise there will probably be just your spine that’ll hurt when the needle goes over it but it's over in a few seconds.

Can I ask why you're getting a tattoo there? Do you know that years ago they used to use it for the mark of a whore, and now it's called a “tramp-stamp”.

And don't take any pain-killers 2 hours before you get a tattoo, it thins the blood which results in blood pouring out more and makes it difficult for the artist.

Answer:
Just take some Tylenol or Advil before you get your tattoo.

and yeah, it's gonna injured. Not bad, but you’ll feel it. Depending on where you get it, it will injured more or less. The pain level all depends on the body area. Take a pair of tweezers and make some very small pinches on different areas of your body to feel the difference. That's sorta what it will feel like but 100 times really swift.

And you know what guys call tattoos on the lower back right? A Tramp Stamp. Just so you know…

Answer:
my 1st tatt was on my lower bakc and i had numbing cream its still hurts but its bearible they ment to leave it on half a hour the artsit ony left mine on 15 mins so i could feel the scrapping. i then went on to get a gecko on my hip with numbing cream felt hardly anything the ocasionla scratch but tit was worth it

Answer:
don't bother. the artist wipes and rubs the area so much that the cream isn't going to help. i'm in the process of getting my back done (that's me in the avatar). i won't lie - i have a lot of tattoos but this one was by far the most painful because of placement. i took a couple of low dose darvocets to get me thru last night's appt. it took the edge off. i could still feel everything, but just not to the point where it was unbearable.

Answer:
it's an anesthetic. it deadens the nerves on the area where it's applied. it may not remove all the feeling but will reduce it.

depending where you're being tattooed, some areas are more sensitive than others.

i had one on the inside of my wrist and it just felt like a mild tingle. without cream.

good luck

Answer:
If you can't take the pain, don't get a tattoo.
