my boyfriends mum used savlon for her lip piercing and it healed her lip but some people have told me not to use it, my mum bought me some today so ive been using it (aswell as the solution the piercer gave me and also ive been washing my mouth out with mouth wash)
so should it be ok to use savlon on my lip?
i got it pierced this past saterday

i wouldnt use the cream though because they can get cloggy and leave too much residue, get the sprays

your not suppose to use anything like neosporin or any sort of healer. use salt water or Dr. Bronners antibacterial (Trader Joe's) to clean it out. Its essential that you don't use alcohol or peroxide because it stops the healing process, and its essential that you heal.

hiya dnt use savlon on ur piercing, i have had several piercings an du shouldnt use it…..u need to mix 1/4 teaspoon sea salt NOT table salt with boiling water, let it cool dwn to as hot as u cn stand it, add cpl drops of tea tree oil and bathe it with tht

Savlon is great stuff, it works a treat, go for it, if you do seem to get a bad reaction from the cream, stop usuing it.

Savlon isnt really great - an experiment once showed bacteria could grow on it! However it does have a soothing effect
