i've wanted another piercing for ages, my mum and father wont allow me to get one though, i will turn 16 at the beginning of next year which means i dont need a parents permission for a piercing, should i get one or not?

Yes, you should. If you want one and have wanted one for a while then there's no reason not to. In fact there are some piercings that are really easy you can do yourself, and won't need to get professionally done with your parents permission. Maybe a nose or septum piercing. If you're feeling gutsy you can even pierce your own lip or eyebrow.
