Will a small star tattoo on my pant line hurt ?

I’m having my first tattoo today.

Its going to be 3 small black stars, then 4 smaller coloured stars next to it, i have designed the tattoo myself so i know its the right one to get.

I was just wondering what pain to expect, its going to be on the right side of my stomach on my pant line, it will not be on my hip bone just next to it !

I've got a star tattoo on my chest and another tattoo on my right hip (just beside the hip bone.) The outline does hurt a little, especially at the tip of the star, but filling in is uncomfortable rather than painful. Anticipate it to injured (ache) afterwards, as your pants will rub on it, but this pain will subside after about a week or so. Not sure if you're ticklish… but I found that area to be really sensitive!

Let the tattooist know that its your first, and if you need any breaks.

If you think it is going to hurt, a small trick that worked for me was taking painkillers about 1/2 an hour before you are due to get it done. This helps dull the pain. I was told to do this by a nurse when I had a piercing done that was quite painful, and it did help.

ive got 4 blue stars on my left lower pant line. and it was my first. it didnt really injured. it felt like someone was scratchin me with a needle. and it felt like a sunburn afterwards. def dealable. the worst part is that at that spot your pants rub on it. and when it crusts over it cracks and it kindof messed up the ink. no biggie u can get it touched up. they used a small gauge needle so it really wasnt that bad.

The closer a tattoo is to a bone the more it hurts. If the area you are tattooing is quite fatty then anticipate less pain than if you’re tattooing near or on top of the bone. The area you’re tattooing is near to a bone so anticipate a reasonable amount of pain.

when i got mine on my chest it on started hurting when it went over my collar bone. it generally doesn't injured on fleshy bits.

don't get star tattoos everyone has them and they’re already going out of style. Get something that means something sentimental. Do you really want stars on your body for the rest of your life?

wat ever u do don't drink any alcohol before you go get a tattoo it will just feel worse cause then ur blood is thinner and ur just going to feel twice the pain
