Tattoos can state a lot about a person. I personally do not care for them BUT I will state that the type of art states even more. If it is trashy and not done well then I wonder if they got it in prison or in an alley somewhere. On the other hand, if the art is detailed and precise, it can make a body a work of art in itself…

I have a tatoo across my lower back, one on my forearm, and one on each ankle. I do regret the one on the forearm simply from a fashion standpoint that it throws off the look of some of my outfits / jewelry. I drew them all up myself, then had the tatoo shop do them. Many girls with tattoos come from low-income backgrounds etc and lower back tattoos are referred to as tramp stamps, a term I despise because I see no relation between body art and sleeping around. There are plenty of wealthy movie stars etc who have body art, and I think those women are helping to break the stereotype that if you’re female and tatooed, you are “easy” and “trash”. In any case, if the art makes you happy, screw what everyone else thinks, tattoos are for YOU, and I love them on both women and men. I think it should be the content of the tattoo more than the fact you have a tatoo itself that helps form peoples of opinion of you, but still they shouldnt judge a girl until they know her!

Women who get tattoos are only adding onto their natural appearance because they feel care about it needs enhancing, so their lack of self-esteem is somehow a turn-on for you, I suppose.
Then again, if you're only looking at it from the “sex appeal” perspective, we are looking at it from completely different angles to begin with.

I do think that small, tacky tattoos of dumb things or really over-used things (likes stars and crap like that) aren't attractive or sexy and basically just dumb.

i have a pretty huge dreamcatcher on my upper back. i had it done about 9 years ago. i loved it the first few years but frankly, i think i'm having some of that 'tat regret'. it looks great as a teen and early twenty something but now that i'm 26 and getting older, i'm kind of wishing i had remained ink free. i suggest if you do get a tat to get something small and charming and not always on public display.

I got my first tattoo when I was 15, and I have never looked back. I’m a living breathing piece of art, OK, some people don't like them, but I LOVE them.
They make me feel very sexy, my Hubby is also tattooed and he looks great

I’ve them in places I can show or hide some what easily. But then again I didn't do it to turn some one on. And to the people who state I will regret it (not that I would)when I'm 40, I'll be in a wheel chair and have bigger issues. And I probably wont even make it to 60.

it really depends on what and where. i think tattoos are a great way to express yourself, but if its hideous and trashy i think its not attractive. if a woman can wear a cute/cool/edgy/unique tattoo with class then i think tattoos are really cool.

I Totally Concur, My Husband cares about my tattoos! As long as the girl is good looking too! Though there are some very pretty girls with very ugly tats that are huge and you cant even tell what it is, kinda looks like a huge birthmark lol.
