Hi,

I had a miscarriage on july 18th not had period since then on tuesday night my af finally showed up its more painful and there’s bright red blood usually my periods are browny in colour i know this can have something to do with new/old blood but i wanted to know if this was normal??

Thanks

Answer:
I experienced a miscarriage this last may. My first period after and a few following had me convinced I was going to die. I was bleeding extremely heavy, the color was bright red, and I was in so much pain I was ready to dig my own grave.

Fortunately, everything was absolutely normal. Ever woman's body is going to react differently to miscarrying. If you begin running a fever, are having consistent increased “bleeding”, it would definitely be time to call the physician. Better yet, if you are worried about it… give him/her a call now. You are paying that person to “take care of you” and they get calls like that all the time.

Good luck!

Answer:
When it comes to experiences after a miscarriage there is no such thing as normal. Each women experiences something different.

I think that seeing as you've gone such a long time without a period then it is likely that this one will be heavier than normal as your womb lining has been building up for a long time.

Answer:
yes it is normal i was the same, i never had very bad period cramps/pains until after my miscarriage now my periods only last for 3 days each month.

sorry for your loss.

Answer:
It is normal…..I had my first period 21st September…after m/c on 25th August. It was bright red blood and not as painful as I imagined it would be though!

So sorry for your loss. Know what it's like.

Answer:
It's normal, don't worry.
