After 8 years on the pill, me and my partner have decided that it's about time i came off it and we start trying for a family. I had my last period of the 4th January and have not had one since! Iam now two weeks over the period due date and am starting to get really worried. Before starting the pill i did have irregular periods. I have done 4 hpt and all of them were negative. I have also been to my GP and he said come back in 3 months time if i still have not had a period!!!
Could i be pregnant?
Has anybody go any advise for me as i really can't stop worrying.

How long ago did you come off the pill?
If this is your first cycle since stopping I would guess it's just your body adjusting and your probably not pregnant.
If that's not the case and your periods have been regular since you came off the pill then it's defiantly possible that your pregnant.
Hang in there, wait a few more weeks and try the test again, I know it's a killer (I'm there myself) but it's the only way.
Can I ask? If your trying to conceive then why are you so worried? think positive.

Give it maybe a month & do another test. My periods were all over the place when i came off the pill & i fell pregnant about 3months after coming off the pill.

there are 2 options - you're pregnant - yay! thats what you wanted anyway right?
or your not pregnant - thats ok keep trying and have fun while your doing it!
either way worrying about it is not gonna help and can delay the start of a period . . .

NO you are not pregnant . Even your doctor has told you that you are not. The test are almost fool proof. you have done 3 and all negative well then you are not pregnant simple as.
Why dont people read what the askers have said. She has done 3 home pregnancy tests! All are negative! Her doctor had even said that she is not pregnant as they would not of said come back in 3 months if they believed her to be pregnant. For the love of God I am sorry but you are not pregnant!!!

as you have used pills which had caused ur harmonal level distrubed and might be ur menstural cycle will be distrubed for a short time. u willbe pregnant when ur cycle become normal . u will have frequent sex in 1st week after cycle $ last week before cycle

You have just come off the pill, you have done 3 hpt all negative results, your doctor told you your not pregnant, what more do you want
How do you know your 2 weeks late, you have only come off the pill and dont know when your periods due, you were on it for 8 years, come on have a bit of common sense, how on earth are we suppose to know if your pregnant, it has to be the dumbest question asked on here
