ok first of all i have a 8 year old lovely daughter came off the pill after 8 years!myself and my partner would love another baby so my little girl can have a little brother or sister 
completed the whole pack on the 7th august so after my 7 day break i would of been “pill free” from 14th august
this day 5th sept got my period and its def a period quite heavy a proper period is sooo different from a withdrawel bleed from the pill:(:(
can any1 help me with dates with ovulation??im so confused with all this i was kinda hoping i would of became pregnant right away “wishful thinking”:(
now that iv had my period will it be easier for me to get pregnant as my cycle has came back so swift?
any answers would be much appreicated

When I came off the pill I had regular cycles for 3 months and then my body went crazy. The next cycle was 123 days. Horrible. I would suggest that you begin charting right away. If I could go back to 15 mo ago when I came off the pill the first thing I would do is begin charting. Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It is awesome. You might also check out Fertilityfriend.com it is a charting website that is very helpful. I read TCOF last month and started charting this month. I can't believe all of the clues your body gives you.

I don't know about easier, but you could get pregnant any time.
You might not be in a regular cycle yet, so until you’ve had 3 or so, you might not know or be able to accurately compute your ovulation dates.
I seem to recall I was told 5 months, but I was pregnant by the 4th.

usually women are most fertile after getting off birth control, hopefully it wont take to long. as for ovulation, the norm is 12-16 days after the First day of your last period. so you would want to try every other day from 10 days after your first period.

your cycle might not come back regular for some time. its normally 10 to 14 days after your period when you ovulate you can buy ovulation tests to help good luck
