Been ttc since September. Was convinced I'd missed my chance this month as my husband was away when i thought i was ovulating. BUT - woke up this morning with a funny feeling. I ran out of work at lunchtime bought a test and did it in the loos at work and I got a BFP! I nearly can't believe it's real - do you think I should tell hubby tonight?

If he’s as excited as you about concieving yes then tell him! I would do it in a adorable way.. like put the test in a little box and say here I got you a tiny something because i was bored or something! im so excited for you! congrats mommy to be!!

When I fell pregnant I didn't believe the test so I did 5 before telling my partner and before going to the physicians… I bought 4 cheap tests at a couple of quid each and the last test was a clear blue one. I'd state get a digital clear blue test, do that, when it says “PREGNANT” on the screen it'll stay there for about 24-48 hours so cook him a nice meal and present the test just after he's finished! When I told the physicians I'd took a clearblue digital test they stated it was pointless doing another test there because they are the most reliable tests you can get. I saw on a tv show…I can't remember which one…but the lady wanted to tell her hubby she was pregnant and made dinner…”baby carrots, baby potatoes, pretty much any food that has “baby” in the name. You could try that!Answer:

Yes, maybe stop off in a shop on your way home and get a tiny gift bag or something and give it to him as a gift!!
(Maybe do a clear blue digital before and at least it will say PREGNANT so he definately gets the jist lol!) . . great news.
Or take hime out to dinner to celebrate and tell him?

Bless, last time I took a test, and got a BFP I thought I have to have been further along that I had thought, as the test was so dark… First check in hospital due to bleeding they thought I felt large for dates, that I might be a week or two further along at least.
