Ovulation predictors, can they be ‘false positives’ too?

i use a saliva based ovulator tester. and it showed the transitional phase followed by the fertile phase.

i had a week later the lightest bit of spotting, for two mornings in fact i am surprised i even spotted it

now its two weeks after that, so three weeks after the test said i was ovulating.

no AF yet and i have had a couple of cramps over the last few weeks, tired fatigued fatigued and then not sleeping and having to pee more often

all could be and probably is nothing

what i wanted to know is could the ovulation test have been wrong, or did i infact ovulate?

Saliva based ovulation tests can be pretty hard to interpret. The urine tests can also be a bit tricky, but are much clearer in my experience. I've used them on two months and got pregnant both times.

I think you should do a pregnancy test.

could have been implantation spotting…. did you take a pregnancy test?
